Vyn Dene Gris 2024
A fragrant Pinot Gris with notes of pear, citrus blossom and white peach. Dry and finely structured, it combines bright acidity with gentle texture from oak ageing. Fresh, poised and savoury on the finish.
Sourced from a south facing slope at Coombe Bottom Farm in West Sussex, this Pinot Gris reflects both site and season. Wild fermented with a majority aged in older oak and taken through full malolactic conversion, the wine was crafted with a light hand to preserve clarity.
On the nose, pear and citrus blossom lead, with hints of white peach and a subtle savoury undertone. The palate is dry and fresh, defined by crisp acidity and a clean, lightly textural frame rather than overt richness. Oak influence is restrained, contributing shape more than flavour.
Food Pairings: A focused, cool climate expression of Pinot Gris, well suited to grilled chicken, herb salad dishes or simple seafood.
