Aromatic and expressive, this Pinot Gris offers layers of pear, peach, citrus blossom, and honeysuckle. A creamy palate reveals subtle vanilla and buttered notes from oak ageing, framed by taut acidity and a long, textural finish.
Sourced from a south-facing slope in West Sussex, this Pinot Gris shows the generosity and aromatic lift of a standout site. Pale lemon in colour but bold on the nose, with ripe pear, white peach, and honeysuckle leading the way. Stone fruit and blossom intertwine with citrus – lemon, lime, and a touch of gooseberry.
The palate is dry and structured, its high acidity counterbalanced by soft oak influence: a creamy texture, hints of butter, and a gentle trace of vanilla. The finish is long and persistent, with floral notes re-emerging as the wine unfolds.
